About

A recurring observation.

Trove was founded by Manasi Mashru, after more than two decades advising boards and leadership teams through growth, transformation and value creation.

In Manasi's words

Over the course of my career, I became increasingly interested in a recurring pattern. The organisations that struggled were not always those with weaker strategies.

More often, the challenge was that the leadership team and organisation were being asked to deliver something fundamentally different from what had come before. New capabilities were required, new ways of working were needed, and new expectations had emerged.

Yet the assumptions underneath those changes were rarely discussed explicitly.

Trove was created from that observation.

The founder

Two decades inside the work, across markets and sectors.

Manasi Mashru has spent more than twenty years in senior consulting, advising boards, chief executives and leadership teams through the decisions that decide whether ambition becomes performance. Most recently she was a Managing Director at Accenture, leading consumer health and life sciences strategy across Asia Pacific. Before that, at EY, she worked across consumer and retail more broadly.

Her work has spanned Africa, the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific and India, giving her a first hand view of how the same change plays out very differently from one market and one culture to the next. That range is what allows Trove to bring an outside read grounded in how these situations actually unfold, rather than how a plan assumes they will. She is based in Singapore.

Trove takes on a small number of engagements at a time. If this is a conversation worth having, write directly.
